From April 2015 to December 2016, the viewer can follow filmmaker Chris Teerink in this application in the form of a diary. In order to understand Muybridge, Teerink visits archives, museums and former scenes, trying to fathom the intriguing, at times dark personality and the ground-breaking experiments that he carried out. Every fortnight Teerink will post a new story, providing an insight into the world of this fascinating 19th century pioneer, as well as a glimpse into the filmmaker’s own thoughts and praxis.
